McWane Ductile Ohio (MDO) Team Members Attend VPPPA Conference
As part of their continued commitment to OSHA’s VPP program and safety excellence, McWane Ductile Ohio (MDO) team members Shain Ridenbaugh (MDO VPP Coordinator), Chad Elliott (President of MDO VPP Board of Directors) and Dustin Blair (Vice President of MDO VPP Board of Directors) attended the recent VPPPA Region V Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.
McWane Ductile Ohio Lends a Helping Hand in Tuscarawas Township
McWane Ductile Ohio (MDO) volunteers helped clean up the streets of Tuscarawas Township last week as part of its Adopt-A-Road commitment that began in 2012. MDO employees are proud to volunteer their time every six months to help improve the local community.
MDO team members are always looking for opportunities to demonstrate their commitment and willingness to work to improve the quality of life in the local community.
McWane Ductile Ohio Holds Intern/Co-op Appreciation Day
There has been a shortage of skilled workers in manufacturing for several years now, particularly in positions that require more than a high school diploma, but less than a four-year college degree. One way to address this issue and introduce students to the opportunities available in manufacturing is through an internship program. These programs provide knowledge and hands-on experience which students can apply in real world environments.
On April 11, 2018, McWane Ductile Ohio (MDO) celebrated Intern/Co-op Appreciation Day. These interns are a valuable member of the MDO team and we appreciate the work they have done on several very dynamic projects.
