The Futurecom sales team was recently in Orlando, Florida for two industry trade shows.
The first show was the Motorola Channel Partner Expo (CPE) held at Rosen Shingle Creek. The second show was the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) held at the Orange County Convention Center.
Futurecom announced the latest feature enhancements in Release 3 of the PDR8000 – Portable Digital Repeater. The PDR8000 will now come standard with a local user interface, allowing local channel change operation. Futurecom was also part of a panel discussion on deployable wireless solutions.
Futurecom team members held their annual Christmas luncheon on December 7 at Destiny Banquet Hall in Woodbridge, Ontario. Team members enjoyed a wonderful lunch and were treated to a murder mystery production of Silence of the Hams put on by BigTime Productions.
Team members were active participants in the production including Dave Ray, Senior Director of Engineering, who performed an Academy Award winning death scene. Other team members participated by showing some fantastic dance moves.
The entire Futurecom team would like to wish all our customers and vendors a very happy holiday season and a prosperous 2018!
Not only are Futurecom team members great radio professionals, they are also great home cooks. That was clearly evident on November 2nd for their Harvest Festival Potluck. The tables were lined with delicious salads, scrumptious warm dishes and outstanding desserts. As part of the potluck, Futurecom team members were asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the local Vaughan Food Bank and they did not disappoint!
